What are diamond cutting discs?

Diamond discs or colloquially flex diamond discs are special cutting discs that cut different materials. The intended use is the cutting or grinding of workpieces.
The diamond cutting disc has a diamond segment which, contrary to what is assumed, does not cut but grinds.

The diamond segment is applied to the blade body by sintering, soldering or laser welding. Reliable, long-term and safe use can only be guaranteed if the unit is perfectly matched to one another.
Thus, well-known manufacturers produce different product lines.

The basic equipment includes universal cutting discs that cover a wide range of materials. A universal tool is not sufficient for many materials, so special cutting discs are manufactured.
These are adapted to the individual properties of the materials in order to achieve the best possible result.

Any other use will lead to heavy wear and poor cutting performance. It is therefore advisable to take the specified material groups or family of materials (materials with the same raw material) into account.
