Which core drilling machine is the right one for you?
That depends on the following factors:
Hand-held diamond drilling is done with a “small - medium” core drilling machine. This is always used when holes with a smaller diameter have to be drilled into hard material. Dry drilling is also often used to minimize working time. An example of this is a water culvert.
Column-guided diamond drilling is required for the more powerful core drilling machines with more wattage. Generally larger diameter core drillings can also be carried out with these machines. In addition, these often have integrated water connections to optimize the drilling process through cooling.

This depends entirely on how often you use the device. It may even be worth hiring a specialist or craftsman for one or a few “small” holes (diameter).
In the case of a renovation/refurbishment where many holes are drilled but the period is foreseeable, for example, two weekends, it can be worth renting the device.
